Claes Oldenburg: The Sixties

Antony Gormley: Horizon Field
The Kunsthaus Bregenz and the British artist Antony Gormley (born in 1950) have realised a unique project in the mountains of Vorarlberg. Horizon Field is the first art project of its kind erected in the mountains and the largest landscape intervention in Austria to date. Horizon Field consists of 100 life-size, solid cast iron figures of the human body spread over an area of 150 square kilometers in the communities of Mellau, Schoppernau, Schröcken, Warth, Mittelberg, Lech, Klösterle, and Dalaas.

Tobias Rehberger: Sex and Friends

Eva Rothschild: Hot Touch
The Irish artist Eva Rothschild (born 1972, lives and works in London) is one of the most important protagonists of a generation of young artists dealing with the formal aspects of sculpture. Influenced by minimalism of the nineteen sixties and seventies, Eva Rothschild’s works convince through their tension-filled combinations of such diverse materials as leather, paper, Plexiglas, wood and metal.

Kienholz: The Signs of the Times

Sol LeWitt: Structures, 1965-2006
Sol LeWitt (1928 - 2007) was one of America’s most inventive, prolific, and influential artists. He created significant bodies of work in two and three dimensions, including drawings, photographs, prints, and sculptures (known as “structures”). An originator of minimal and conceptual art in the 1960s, LeWitt helped to transform the artistic thinking of both his contemporaries and subsequent generations of artists.
