Born in Glasgow in 1966, Douglas Gordon is today among the most important as well as the most influential artists of his generation. The story of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec can very easily simply be-come the oft-told tale of this quirky artist who, for better or worse, became as one with his own art and circle of motifs.
