Nicolas Deshayes: PRECURSOR
PRECURSOR is a new commission by Nicolas Deshayes made in response to another, absent artist’s body of work. Deshayes’ installation at E:ventGallery reflects an engagement with late polish artist Alina Szapocznikow’s series of untitled ‘Photosculptures’ made in the early 1970s. 19 March - 10 April 2011

Shadowboxing
Shadowboxing brings together projects by four artists, Mariana Castillo Deball, Sean Dockray, Marysia Lewandowska and Wendelien van Oldenborgh, in an exhibition developed in collaboration with the graduating students of the Royal College of Art’s Curating Contemporary Art MA. Using different strategies – from tinkering to direct confrontation – each of these artists considers how the media and institutions that control our behaviour and ideology can be disrupted.

Michael Borremans: Eating the Beard
From 20 Feburary – 1 May 2011, the Württembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart is presenting a comprehensive solo exhibition with over one hundred works by Belgian artist Michaël Borremans. Alongside paintings, drawings, and filmic works from the past ten years, there will be a series of new works that are being exhibited in Germany for the first time.

David Maljkovic: Recalling Frames
